What we do
Apps. Websites.
Real Solutions.
Zero Horizon is a small development studio. We design and build mobile apps and web platforms for businesses and founders, and we ship our own products alongside them.
Mobile apps
Native iOS and Android apps, taken from first sketch through store review to a live listing.
Web platforms
Marketing sites, dashboards and web apps built to load fast, rank well and stay cheap to run.
AI features
Assistants and search grounded in your own content, with sources a user can check.
Ongoing support
Updates, monitoring and new releases after launch, not just at handover.
Why Zero Horizon
A studio, not an agency
We are deliberately small. That means fewer projects at once, and the people you meet are the people who do the work.
We ship our own products
Every project on this site is one we designed, built and still maintain. We have been through App Store review, live outages and real user feedback on our own time first.
You talk to whoever builds it
No account managers and no handoffs between teams. The person who takes your brief is the person writing the code, so nothing gets lost in translation.
Built so you could leave
Your code, your App Store listing, your hosting, all in your own accounts. If you ever take the work in-house, there is nothing holding you to us.
Our process
From idea to impact
Four stages, a fixed scope and a price agreed up front — so you can see progress, stay in control, and know what you are paying for.
- 01
Discovery
We work out what you're building and who it's for.
A call, a written scope and a clear quote, agreed before any code is written.
- 02
Design
We map the screens and how people move through them.
Wireframes first, then designs you can click through on your own phone.
- 03
Develop
We build it in the open, in short reviewable stages.
You get working builds to test as we go, so nothing lands as a surprise.
- 04
Launch
We ship it, then stay on to keep it healthy.
Store submission, hosting, analytics and a support window after release.
Our work
Some things we’ve built
These are our own products, designed and built in-house. They are how we try out ideas, and the clearest evidence of what we can build for you.

The things people ask first
If yours isn’t here, ask it directly — we’d rather answer than have you guess.
What does a project cost?
It depends entirely on scope, so we quote rather than list prices. A small marketing site is a different order of cost to a native app with accounts, payments and a backend. Tell us what you have in mind and you'll get a written quote with a fixed price before any work starts.
How long does it take?
A straightforward website is usually two to four weeks. A first version of a native app is typically eight to sixteen weeks, depending on how much it has to do. We'll give you a date with the quote and tell you early if anything threatens it.
Who owns the code and the accounts?
You do. The repository, the App Store listing, the domain and the hosting all sit in your own accounts from the start, not ours. If you ever want to take the work in-house or move to another studio, there's nothing to untangle.
Do you build for Android as well as iOS?
Yes — both, and we're equally happy on either. Most clients launch on both platforms together; where a budget only stretches to one for now, we'll look at where your users actually are and tell you honestly which to start with. That's a decision about your audience, not a preference of ours.
Can you take over a project someone else started?
Often, yes. We'll review the existing code first and tell you plainly whether it's worth continuing or whether rebuilding is cheaper in the long run — including when the honest answer is that you don't need us.
What happens after launch?
Every build includes a support window after release for anything that surfaces once real users arrive. Beyond that, most clients move onto a monthly arrangement for updates and new features — but it's optional, never a condition of the build.
Are you actually a UK company?
Yes — Zero Horizon Ltd is registered in the United Kingdom, and we invoice in pounds. We work with clients outside the UK too; most of the work happens over calls and shared builds either way.
Have an idea? Let’s build it.
Tell us what you have in mind, even roughly. We’ll come back with honest feedback on scope, timeline and what it would cost — no obligation either way.
